Support Worker Assistant

Job Summary:
The Manchester City Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker Assistant to join our team. As a Support Worker Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support and care to individuals with disabilities, ensuring they achieve their full potential and lead fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and care to individuals with disabilities, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with the Disability Supported Accommodation Service (DSAS) team to deliver high-quality support and care.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in the field of disability support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
- Commitment to delivering person-centered support and care.
