Samuel Frank Associates is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our team as a Lead Service Engineer / Service Team Leader in a commercially focused role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow the service team and improve service turnover while taking on a lead position.
- Service Engineers can come from either an electrical or mechanical background (Level 3 apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical, or installation/service engineer or equivalent).
- Lead a small team of Service Engineers and be involved technically with regular site work.
- Plan and manage the schedule for the service team to ensure optimal utilization.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and upgrades and collaborate with the Sales team on identified opportunities, including refurbishments and new equipment.
- Ensure team members are fully inducted, trained, and utilized.
- Hold an IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S Qualification.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is essential.
- Prepare RAMS.
- Experienced in schedule planning, selling, training, and providing costings.
- Possess a full UK driving license.
- Inspect site work, conduct surveys, and maintain service stock.
All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
