We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Kennet Recruitment Solutions. Our client, a well-established Civil Engineering contractor, specializes in the Water industry and is looking for a candidate with NEC Contract knowledge and a background in Civil Engineering.

The successful candidate will work on exciting major projects, ranging from £500k to £15m. If you have a strong understanding of NEC Contracts and experience in Civil Engineering, Utilities, Highways, or Groundworks, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate project costs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues
  • Prepare and present project reports, including cost estimates and progress updates

Requirements:

  • NEC Contract knowledge and experience
  • Strong understanding of Civil Engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
