Job Title: Care and Support Assistant

Ryde, Isle of Wight

We are seeking a part-time Care and Support Worker to join our team at Southern Housing. As a Care and Support Worker, you will work with older people, frail elderly, people with a learning disability, and individuals with mental health issues, providing personalised care and support in line with established care and support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to provide care and support to residents and service users.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care and support plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and support plans.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a care and support setting.
  • Knowledge of care and support principles and practices.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and develop relationships with service users and stakeholders.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
