Science Teacher / Science ECT Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious Science Teacher / Science ECT to join our expanding Science Department at an 'Outstanding' Secondary School in the heart of Westminster.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspiring and motivating students, working alongside a team of experienced Science Teachers, and contributing to the development of our Science curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct and engage students in Science lessons, promoting a love of learning and academic excellence.
  • Develop and deliver Science lessons that cater to the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Science curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and school policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school events to contribute to the growth and success of the school.

Requirements:

  • UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong academic background, with a degree in Science or a related field.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow with the school.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and curriculum developments.
