Behaviour Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at Academics. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioural needs in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group support to students with behavioural challenges, implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour and social skills.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment, ensuring each student receives the support they need to succeed.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Liaise with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the child's educational and emotional development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • Patient, compassionate, and dedicated to supporting children with behavioural challenges.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
