Position Overview

CHC Helicopters is seeking Pilots to become part of our skilled and adaptable team.

Key Duties

Operate assigned aircraft safely and efficiently, adhering to CHC operational standards and relevant regulations; Prioritize safety and customer service in all actions, both in and out of the aircraft; Maintain awareness of the operational environment regarding weather, NOTAMs, sea conditions, and customer facility status; Assist the aircraft commander in ensuring safe flight operations; Communicate effectively with customers, representing CHC professionally; Stay informed on all operational and safety protocols; Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Flight Operations Management team; While the primary work area is Norwich, opportunities for secondments to other bases may arise.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Essential Qualifications

Valid UK CAA ATPL (H) or UK CAA Frozen ATPL (H), Current Multi Engine Instrument rating (H), Hold a UK CAA Class 1 medical certificate, Completion of psychometric testing is required, Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential; Ability to manage a diverse workload effectively, Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork, Ability to pass a UK security background check, Proficient in IT and capable of using CHC IT systems for flight planning and scheduling, Right to live and work in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas Sector (1 Year), Type rating for H175, EASA ATPL (H) alongside UK CAA ATPL (H), 1,500 hours PIC helicopter experience, 500 hours Multi Engine experience, ICAO English level 6 proficiency, Completion of Multi Crew Cooperation Course (MCC) (H), Residing or willing to reside within a reasonable travel distance from the primary work area while on duty.
