Oaklands Global is in search of a proficient and seasoned Air Traffic Control Manager to become an integral part of our client's vibrant team. This crucial position requires outstanding management and administrative skills to guarantee the smooth and effective functioning of our Air Traffic Services division.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and Oversight : Direct the daily activities of the Air Traffic Team, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient, and effective air traffic services for all stakeholders. Exhibit strong leadership throughout the unit, managing both team dynamics and individual performance.
- Coordination and Engagement : Collaborate with air traffic control staff, senior management, and various stakeholders to promote effective communication and teamwork.
- Standardization and Protocols : Formulate and execute procedures to uphold high professional standards across all operational aspects.
- Operational Responsibilities : As a fully qualified and licensed Air Traffic Control Officer (ATCO), maintain at least one Unit Endorsement while fulfilling ATCO duties.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in managing Air Traffic Services
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of airport operations and commercial insights
- Profound knowledge of air traffic control procedures, regulations, and safety measures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for making informed decisions in high-pressure situations
- Fully SMS qualified
- Holder of a UK ATCO Licence
- At least 5 years of operational experience, with a minimum of 3 years at a UK airport
