Audit Senior Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring timely completion of engagements and delivery of high-quality services.
  • Supervise junior audit staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their professional development.
  • Review and improve the efficiency of the audit function, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for audit queries, providing proactive problem-solving and technical expertise.
  • Support business development for the firm, identifying new service lines and opportunities for existing and potential clients.
About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced audit professional to join a reputable South West accountancy practice. As an Audit Senior, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the growth and success of the firm.

Requirements:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified.
  • At least 2-3 years' varied audit experience within practice.
  • Working knowledge of FRS 120, FRS 105, and the Companies Act 2006.
  • Corporation tax knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with Charities is desirable.
  • Previous supervisory experience, with good people management skills.
