About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is in search of a compassionate and committed Youth Support Specialist to assist students facing behavioral challenges within a school setting in New Earswick. Your role will be pivotal in providing essential support to these students, enabling them to cultivate the skills necessary for success in both their academic and social endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with students individually and in small groups to address behavioral concerns and encourage positive conduct.
- Design and execute strategies aimed at helping students effectively manage their emotions and behaviors.
- Collaborate with educators, Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs), and other personnel to foster a nurturing educational environment.
- Track student progress and provide consistent feedback to teachers and guardians.

All salary rates mentioned will include statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
