  • Competitive Salary: £13.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications
  • Flexible hours: 36 or 48 hours per week - 3 or 4 shifts of 12 hours during the night
  • Night shifts from 8 PM to 8 AM, with a requirement to work alternate weekends

Role Overview:

  • In your capacity as a Senior Care Assistant, you will collaborate with and mentor a team of Care Assistants to ensure the delivery of exceptional care at all times.
  • You will report directly to the Home Manager and work closely with ancillary teams and fellow Senior Care Assistants.
  • Your role will involve engaging residents in meaningful activities while consistently promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
  • Contributing to the development of person-centered care plans and conducting risk assessments will be vital for the successful delivery of outstanding care, with regular updates and reviews required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant, holding an NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Health and Social Care, or three years' experience without an NVQ.
  • Experience in a nursing or care home setting or as a home care worker.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, particularly the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
  • Desirable knowledge and experience working with individuals suffering from dementia.
  • Previous experience in prompting/administering medication using an electronic e-MAR system is advantageous; however, full training and support will be provided.
