Funding Opportunities for Neurosciences and Mental Health Research

We are seeking applications for research grants focused on neurosciences and mental health at NERC - the Natural Environment Research Council.
Eligibility Criteria- Applicants must be employed by a research organisation eligible to apply for Medical Research Council (MRC) funding.
- The research organisation must be able to direct the project and be actively engaged in the work.
- The application must focus on the research area of neurosciences and mental health.
- Projects can last up to five years, but typically last three to four years.
- There is no limit to the funding that can be applied for, but it should be appropriate to the project.
- We will usually fund up to 80% of the project's full economic cost.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, with application rounds closing every January, May, and September.
Important Considerations- Applicants must ensure that their research organisation is eligible to apply for MRC funding.
- Applicants must demonstrate that they will direct the project and be actively engaged in the work.
- Applicants must focus their application on the research area of neurosciences and mental health.
