Role Overview

  1. Deliver efficient administrative assistance to the medical team, including typing, managing correspondence, and handling telephone inquiries.
  2. Organize and maintain appointment schedules, ensuring optimal use of time for both patients and medical professionals.
  3. Serve as a point of contact for liaising with other departments, insurers, and healthcare providers regarding patient details and invoicing.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients and visitors.
  5. Accurately document Independent Consultant time to maintain invoicing integrity.
  6. Utilize CareNotes effectively, ensuring all reports and documents are uploaded in compliance with company policies.
  7. Coordinate with inpatient and therapy services regarding patient admissions, discharges, and follow-up arrangements.
  8. Prioritize inquiries and issues to deliver the highest level of service consistently.
  9. Handle patient and family complaints with care, escalating issues as necessary in accordance with company protocols.
  10. Ensure proper filing of documentation to satisfy financial and regulatory audits.
  11. Maintain accurate patient records within CareNotes, ensuring timely updates.
  12. Safeguard medical records in accordance with established company and local procedures.
  13. Adhere to confidentiality and information governance standards as outlined by company policies.
  14. Direct internal and external inquiries appropriately, ensuring effective communication.
  15. Continuously seek to enhance processes for improved operational efficiency.
  16. Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments to support the overall success of the facility.
  17. Provide coverage for colleagues in other departments as needed.
  18. Exhibit a flexible and supportive attitude towards all team members.

This position operates on a bank contract basis, offering flexibility in hours.
