Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Overlander Vehicles Ltd. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read, understand, and follow technical drawings and build procedures to ensure all work is carried out to our internal quality standards.
  • Use hand and air tools to a high level of skill, including cutting equipment, to assemble a multitude of materials such as fibreglass, metal (alloy and steel), and plastics.
  • Identify areas of improvement and participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance our production processes.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Reduce wastage by using raw materials and consumables carefully and as specified.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an assembly role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • High team skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic capacity with the ability to adapt to diverse situations.
