Job Summary:
The Housing Advocate will work closely with victims of domestic abuse, providing high-quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse at the highest risk and their children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis intervention and support to women and children impacted by domestic violence
- Work closely with victims to develop and implement personalized advocacy plans
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support services
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota to provide 24/7 support
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to housing and domestic violence
Requirements:
- Expertise in housing and domestic violence support services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
