Job Overview

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Administrator to provide administrative support to our Digital Forensic Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations within the Laboratory, including providing administrative assistance and completing in-house training in digital forensic fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing customers for all enquiries directed to the Digital Forensic Department.
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of test items in the Digital Forensic Laboratory's Secure Store.
  • Prioritize submissions according to the level of urgency of each case and regularly review and monitor cases to manage priorities.
  • Maintain QCC Global Ltd's bespoke case management system.
  • Order, store, and distribute office consumables.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for evidence handling, data integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Accurately record work and actions in QCC's case management systems to ensure client requirements are met or exceeded.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in a busy administrative environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy at work.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Must pass pre-hire and security vetting procedures in accordance with the ACPO National Vetting Scheme.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years UK residency.
  • Experience with forensic tools and digital forensics within the Criminal Justice System.
  • May require occasional travel to support field operations or attend court proceedings.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO 17025 and the FSR Code.
  • NPPV Level 2/3 vetting.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Remuneration:

  • £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
