Job Title: Regional Maintenance Operative

Sanctuary Care is seeking a skilled Regional Maintenance Operative to join our team. As a key member of our Care Asset Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff, as well as maintaining the overall presentation of our care homes and gardens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks to create a safe environment for everyone.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing skills and DIY experience.
  • Liaise with contractors and coordinate their services to ensure high-quality work.
  • Engage with residents, their families, and colleagues as part of your daily activities.
  • Visit other care homes as necessary to provide cover or participate in planned maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills are essential for a positive environment.
  • Practical skills in recognizing and performing minor repairs are important.
  • Fundamental knowledge of health and safety protocols is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license and access to personal transportation are required.
  • Proficiency in using an iPad or Laptop and compliance applications is necessary.
