Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team at THE PIG Hotels (Home Grown Hotels). As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Housekeeper in the efficient running of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Housekeeper in the management of the housekeeping team, including training, development, and performance management.
  • Take charge of the preparation and cleanliness of all bedrooms and public areas, ensuring exceptional standards are maintained at all times.
  • Liaise with the maintenance team to ensure that all furnishings, fittings, and equipment are in good condition.
  • Manage all linen, deliveries, and stock, ensuring that the department is well-stocked and equipped to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Contribute to the development of new procedures and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the housekeeping department.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Deputy Head Housekeeper or in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
