About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with complex care needs to live independently in their own homes.

Our ideal candidate will have a kind and caring nature, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. You will be required to drive our client's vehicle, so a full clean UK driver's license is essential.

About the Client

We are looking for a Support Worker to support a young male client who has suffered a brain injury. The client is an independent individual who wears a prosthetic and is working with a therapist to achieve rehabilitation goals.

The client requires minimal support with personal care and assistance with domestic duties. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for promoting the client's independence, providing reassurance when needed, and supporting them to access the community.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting the client with daily living tasks, such as personal care and domestic duties
  • Encouraging the client's independence and promoting their rehabilitation goals
  • Providing reassurance and emotional support to the client
  • Assisting the client to access the community, including driving their vehicle
