Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role offers a competitive rate of 55 per hour Umbrella and is a full-time, onsite position.

About the Company:
Matchtech is a prominent player in the aerospace and defence sector, renowned for its innovative technology solutions and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct test support engineering and perform various tasks related to the assembly and testing of intricate systems.
2. Calibrate, maintain, and sustain testing rigs, fixtures, and associated computer systems, networks, and databases.
3. Analyze testing issues and communicate design problems to the project test engineer.
4. Manage and distribute all chemical substances within the operational facility, ensuring compliance with COSHH regulations.
5. Maintain Vantage terminals in collaboration with business process planning to minimize downtime.
6. Test and repair military airborne radios, ensuring accurate documentation of all repairs.

Test Procedures:
Develop production test procedures based on engineering specifications to ensure comprehensive testing of products across all required parameters.

Assembly and Repair:
Engage in the assembly, testing, and repair of complex systems utilized in military communications.

Required Knowledge:
A thorough understanding of electronic products is essential, along with some mechanical insight. Familiarity with PC operating systems (NT4, Win2K, XP), networking (TCP/IP), and ATE software control (TestSan, LabView, GRIP, Visual Basic, SQL) is required.

Education and Experience:
An HNC or equivalent qualification is necessary, along with a minimum of two years of formal technical training.

Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that test procedures are accurately written for products, adhering to customer specifications.
2. Guarantee that equipment is reliable and provides optimal conditions for product testing.
