Financial Planner Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Financial Planner to join our team at Financial Divisions. As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for managing a portion of our existing book of business, providing financial advice to our clients, and helping them achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients, providing financial advice and guidance to help them achieve their financial objectives.
- Develop and implement financial plans tailored to the needs of our clients, taking into account their financial situation, goals, and risk tolerance.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to our clients, helping them to stay on track with their financial plans and make informed decisions about their finances.
- Work closely with our paraplanning team to ensure that all client work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our business, identifying new opportunities and helping to develop new business strategies.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in financial planning, ideally in an independent wealth planning firm.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning principles, including investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, and protections.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
