We're partnering with a renowned independent chartered accountancy practice in Eastbourne to find a skilled Tax Senior / Manager. With offices in Eastbourne & Brighton, our client prides itself on its positive family culture.

As part of the tax team, you'll be involved in client accounting and tax compliance tasks with opportunities to advance your career in taxation. This role offers exposure to diverse tax advisory projects & the chance to enhance your UK and US tax expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Tax Partner with technical research and provide tax advice directly to clients across all tax areas
  • Support the Tax Partner in addressing internal technical tax queries and assist in tax planning
  • Collaborate with the Tax Partner on developing tax planning strategies and offering proactive advice
  • Aid in the preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns for a client portfolio
  • Support the Tax Partner in preparing US Federal Tax Returns

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in working with mixed UK taxation (private & corporate clients) is preferred
  • CTA-qualified candidates are preferred, but other tax/accounting qualifications will be considered
  • Ability to conduct detailed technical research, work under deadlines, and engage in various tax issues
  • Experience in US tax is a plus but not mandatory

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, negotiable
