Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Security Field Service and Installation Engineer to join our team at Alecto Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing fire and security systems in various settings, including commercial properties, public buildings, and historic sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and service fire alarm systems, access control systems, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems.
  • Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems and other security systems.
  • Ensure fire and security systems are maintained in line with current standards and customer requirements.
  • Respond to demand service calls on all types of fire and security systems.
  • Perform annual service visits and respond to incoming faults raised.
  • Update and accurately describe works completed via SIMPRO to inform the office of progress.
Requirements
  • Experience in front-line customer service is preferred.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is required.
  • You must be flexible to travel and participate in an on-call rota, which is 1 week in every 4.
  • Due to the nature of the Fire & Security industry and specific contracts, if successful, you will need to pass several background checks, including a credit check, five-year referencing history, and DBS check.

A successful candidate will be competent in all disciplines - Fire Alarms, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and CCTV. Our client works on large CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Fire, and Access Control projects and can offer job variety, working on very high-end stately homes, large multi-million-pound properties, historic buildings, large commercial properties, and public buildings.
