Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Probation Service Officer to join our team at the Red Snapper Group. As a Probation Service Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the rehabilitation of offenders and promoting community safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offender Management: You will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and monitoring offender management plans, ensuring that offenders receive the support and guidance they need to rehabilitate and reintegrate into society.
  • Community Engagement: You will work closely with community partners, including law enforcement agencies, social services, and healthcare providers, to develop and implement strategies that promote community safety and reduce reoffending.
  • Court Liaison: You will work closely with court staff to ensure that offenders receive the support and guidance they need to comply with court orders and meet their rehabilitation goals.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of offender interactions, including assessments, reports, and progress updates.

Requirements

  • Communication Skills**: You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to develop productive working relationships with offenders, community partners, and court staff.
  • IT Skills**: You will have good IT skills and be able to use computer-based systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date records and produce reports.
  • Enhanced DBS Check**: You will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, which we can process for you.
