About Us: Masterfix GB Limited is a leading provider of multi-trade services, completing over 30,000 jobs every year in the Greater London area.
Job Summary: We are seeking a self-employed plumber to join our team of dedicated customer-focused professionals. As a self-employed plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ordering supplier parts, and managing van stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks allocated by our Client Account Managers or Administrators
- Ordering supplier parts and managing van stock
- Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota as required
- Provide recommendations and solutions to rectify faults and maintenance issues
- Take measurements, estimate labour, and identify materials required for follow-on works
- Support other trades when required
Requirements:
- Previous reactive plumbing maintenance experience - 2 years plus
- NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent (level 2 will be considered with the right experience)
- Full UK driving licence and experience navigating Central London
- Good IT skills and proficiency working via a PDA/mobile device
- Excellent customer service/client-facing skills
- Ability to problem-solve and think clearly under pressure
- Own tools
- Clear DBS
Benefits:
- £225 per day base salary, dependent upon experience
