About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Packing Supervisor to join our team at Staffline Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective movement of goods from our warehouse/despatch operation into the production site.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and coordinate the activities of the despatch team to ensure the necessary performance and service levels are achieved.
  2. Oversee the management of inventories, including trays, pallets, skips, packaging, and other materials.
  3. Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all employees by monitoring and reporting activities and implementing necessary measures.
  4. Attend daily despatch meetings to discuss progress and address any issues.
  5. Prepare and maintain accurate despatch spreadsheets and reports.
  6. Operate a hand scanner to track inventory and monitor despatch activities.
  7. Load and unload goods as required.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid FLT counterbalance license.
  • Be proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Have a driven, enthusiastic, and positive attitude, with experience of managing and leading a team.
  • Be flexible with working hours and willing to work weekends (approximately 1/2 per month).

Benefits

  • Contract after 12 weeks for the right candidate.
  • 29 days holiday after 12 weeks.
