Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion as the Construction Project Manager.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Manage the project budget, including cost estimation, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and on-site teams to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance, ensuring all work adheres to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety, addressing any deviations from the project plan.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and clients, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and potential impacts.
- Implement risk management strategies, identifying potential risks early and developing mitigation plans to ensure project continuity.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale commercial projects exceeding £20 million as the primary project manager, with a consistent and stable career history within Tier 1 contractors.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, planning, and project management methodologies.
- Relevant qualifications including SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme), First Aid certification, and an NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management or a related field.
- Exceptional leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
