**Job Summary**

Prime Appointments is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in a specialist manufacturing company based in the UK. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and coordination/management of specified customer projects or orders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Working within a team of 5 to provide project engineering support and coordination/management of specified customer projects or orders.
  • Providing technical support and on-site services to the company's customers worldwide.
  • Using knowledge of PLC's, HMI software and SCADA systems to provide in-house programming and fault finding.
  • Liaising with design draughtsmen, project engineers and electrical workshops in all aspects of the company's electrical/electronic engineering activities.
  • Developing and maintaining electrical designs, specifications and documentation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies.

**Requirements:**

  • ONC level or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or above.
  • Good knowledge of PLC's, HMI software and SCADA systems.
  • Understanding of Eplan and AutoCAD based software.
  • Electrical design, manufacture, installation or maintenance background.
  • Ability to travel worldwide.
  • British or EU passport.
