You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across our organization, fostering a culture of shared learning and continuous improvement.
Your expertise will guide service delivery, empowering teams to provide safe and effective support while upholding the highest ethical standards. You will actively champion the voices of individuals who utilize our services, ensuring their experiences shape our practices and policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Represent the Safeguarding Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Change Grow Live to embed MCA best practices throughout all aspects of our work.
- Model our core values and behaviors, promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in every interaction.
- Advocate for the perspectives and experiences of individuals who utilize our services, integrating their insights into decision-making processes.
- Prioritize your own professional development through reflective practice and continuous learning.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading the implementation of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding (DoLS).
- Demonstrated success working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Confident facilitation skills, enabling effective collaboration, learning, and knowledge sharing.
- Exceptional time management and prioritization abilities.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence, challenge, support, and build trust at all levels.
- Experience in designing, developing, and delivering impactful training programs.
- Ability to leverage expertise, experience, data, and evidence to equip services with the necessary tools and support for safe and effective service delivery.
- Sound judgment based on evidence, knowledge, and understanding.
- Analytical skills to assess, interpret, and present data effectively.
- A commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, improvement, and embracing new challenges.
- Willingness to share knowledge and skills with colleagues and contribute to the development of a skilled workforce.

Desirable Requirements:
- Experience working within a complex organization, ideally in a Health and Social Care setting.
- Experience in an advisory or national role, providing specialist input and guidance.
