About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Conrad Consulting Ltd in Chesham. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing structural engineering projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete their tasks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development of new business opportunities, identifying and pursuing new projects and clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring Conrad Consulting Ltd remains at the forefront of structural engineering.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- At least 6 years' experience in a multidisciplinary team, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
- Chartered or near Chartered, either MIStructE or MICE.
- Strong experience working on all types of building structures, with knowledge of the design process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
