Senior Electronic Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronic Engineer to join our client's growing team in South Cambridge. This is a full-time permanent position with occasional travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and mentor junior team members to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and team growth.
  • Lead the development and testing of prototypes against internal quality and compliance measures, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Take ownership of debugging issues at both PCB and system levels, utilizing expertise to resolve complex problems efficiently.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure new designs are integrated correctly and meet project requirements.
  • Assume technical project ownership, driving projects forward and ensuring successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Electrical/Electronics Engineering Degree (BSc/BEng/HND) or relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in PCB, systems, and electronics/electrical environments.
  • Proven expertise in embedded systems and FPGAs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working at multiple levels.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
