The role involves collaborating with a team to ensure the efficient operation of services, responding promptly to requests for patient transfers, assisting during emergencies, and managing the collection and delivery of medical samples and medications. Additionally, responsibilities include the timely delivery of meal trolleys, linens, goods, and mail. Given the unpredictable nature of daily operations, a flexible mindset and the ability to take initiative are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and work independently to support services across the organization.
- Collect waste from various areas within the facility.
- Transport patients to different wards and departments.
- Manage the transportation of meal trolleys efficiently.
- Communicate effectively and follow instructions from management.
- Availability for night shifts and weekend work is required.
- Proficiency in Welsh is preferred; however, applications from both Welsh and English speakers are encouraged.
