Job Overview

CBSbutler is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Quality department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring its continued improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement QMS processes and procedures to ensure compliance with BS EN ISO 9001.
  • Conduct internal audits to monitor the effectiveness of our QMS and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure the timely delivery of conforming materials and services from external providers.
  • Collaborate with process owners to develop and maintain QMS elements, including processes, procedures, and workflows.
  • Provide quality assurance support to customers and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Review and prepare quality plans for customer bids and contracts.
  • Investigate and report on customer returns and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing a QMS within a design and manufacturing environment.
  • Hold a minimum HNC/HND or relevant equivalent qualification in an engineering-related discipline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Experience in conducting internal and supplier audits, as well as using problem-solving methodologies such as 8D.
