Third Party Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Third Party Assurance Specialist to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Digital and Risk Advisory Services (DRAS) team, you will play a crucial role in delivering internal audit, advisory, and Third-Party Assurance (TPA) engagements to a wide range of clients.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with strong assurance and consulting skills to help our clients build trust with their stakeholders through independent assurance over diverse subject matter. You will be responsible for delivering TPA engagements and related advice to clients operating across various sectors, supporting them in preparing to meet upcoming reporting and assurance requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver TPA engagements and related advice to clients across various sectors
- Support clients in preparing to meet upcoming reporting and assurance requirements
- Develop and maintain deep client relationships
- Lead complex reviews, including managing teams and ensuring file quality meets assurance and quality requirements
- Stay up-to-date with evolving assurance standards and regulatory reporting landscapes
- External or internal audit or regulatory assurance or advisory work experience
- Experience in delivering work under recognised assurance standards (ISAE 3000, ISAE 3402, ISAE 3410, AAF 01/20, SOC1/2 etc)
- Strong communication skills, ability to influence, lead, engage, and manage stakeholders
- Ability to lead complex reviews, including managing teams and ensuring file quality meets assurance and quality requirements
