Lead and Inspire a Team of Early Childhood Educators
Nursery People is seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our esteemed team in a thriving nursery setting. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the development and well-being of young children while fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment for both staff and families.
Your Responsibilities:- Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth daily operations of the nursery, prioritizing the safety, well-being, and happiness of all children, staff, and families.
- Team Development: Motivate and guide your team of early childhood educators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Engaging Learning Experiences: Design and implement stimulating activities that cater to each child's individual developmental stage, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to the EYFS framework and all relevant regulatory standards, ensuring a safe and compliant learning environment.
- Individualized Care: Develop and manage comprehensive care plans for children with specific needs or health conditions, collaborating closely with parents and healthcare professionals.
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare is essential, with higher qualifications in childcare or leadership highly desirable.
- Proven experience in a childcare setting with managerial responsibilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulatory requirements for early childhood education.
- Experience overseeing successful Ofsted inspections is preferred.
