Role Overview: Are you a dedicated Physiotherapist with extensive experience in managing patients with respiratory ailments? Are you committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and inclusive care to patients with respiratory issues in an outpatient environment?
We are currently looking for a Band 7 Physiotherapist specializing in Respiratory Outpatients. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with the Respiratory Pathway Lead, the clinical specialist respiratory nursing team, and respiratory consultants to ensure a top-tier, patient-focused service. The patient caseload will include conditions such as Bronchiectasis, Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, and various breathing pattern disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a comprehensive and highly specialized Physiotherapy service for patients with respiratory conditions, functioning both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide expert advice and education to rotational Physiotherapists, students, and other healthcare professionals regarding the management of respiratory patients, particularly those with COPD, Bronchiectasis, and related disorders.
Location and Flexibility: Your primary workplace will be at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, with outpatient clinics held at various UHBW locations. Flexibility to travel between sites is essential, and participation in weekend, bank holiday, and on-call rotas will be required.
