Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Company Accountant to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing both the Financial and Management Accounts for our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Full responsibility for the Purchase Ledger and ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Leading month-end reporting and providing insightful analysis to inform business decisions
  • Managing fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Producing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
  • Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring accurate and timely payment
  • Assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting to ensure business growth and sustainability
  • Team management of 2 team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful team performance
