C# Software Engineer / Developer (.Net Core) Opportunity

Career Progression at a Profitable Hedge Fund

We are seeking a skilled C# Software Engineer to join our cross-functional Agile product team responsible for high-value business-critical systems. As a C# Software Engineer, you will be building systems to manage large datasets, processing updates in real-time with high throughput and low latency.

The focus is on backend development with C#.Net and Kubernetes, but you will work across the full stack, using TypeScript, Blazor, and React on the client side. You will take ownership of projects and collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers and business stakeholders, continually learning and assessing new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performance C#.Net Core applications
  • Design and implement scalable backend systems using Kubernetes
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Contribute to the development of the company's technology strategy

Requirements:

  • Strong C# development skills, including.Net Core and multi-threading
  • Good knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Blazor, and React is beneficial
  • Commercial awareness and ability to understand business impact
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Degree educated in a STEM discipline, Computer Science preferred
