Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Solicitor to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our clients in the procurement and contracts space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal procedural and propriety advice to senior officers, elected members, or other persons or bodies
  • Assist in the investigation of complaints, particularly in relation to issues raised with regulatory bodies or the Monitoring Officer
  • Continuously improve services in the area of responsibility, identifying value for money savings and ways of managing within allocated budgets
  • Remain up to date and compliant with all relevant legislation, organisational procedures, policies, and professional codes of conduct

Requirements:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Barrister with relevant post-qualification experience
  • Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts is essential
  • At least 3 years of PQE
