Legionella Risk Assessor - London

Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 + benefits (Based on Experience)

The ideal candidate for the Legionella Risk Assessor role will possess a strong passion for water hygiene, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for fostering trust and effective collaboration within a diverse team.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor
  • City and Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessing is advantageous
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
  • Thorough understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG274 regulations
  • Possession of a full UK driving license
  • Proficient knowledge of domestic hot and cold water systems
  • Highly organized and self-motivated

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments in compliance with ACOP L8 and HSG274 standards
  • Create schematic diagrams and documentation for clients
  • Carry out surveys of water systems in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines
  • Implement remedial actions as required
  • Perform temperature testing and water sampling
  • Provide technical assistance to clients as needed
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure effective delivery of water treatment services
  • Maintain precise records and documentation of assessment results and remedial measures
