About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Yard Manager to join our team at Travis Perkins. As a key member of our yard team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring our team to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the safe and efficient running of our yard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the yard team to achieve high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to optimize stock management
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a yard or warehouse management role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and regulations
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high standards
