About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Grant Thornton LLP. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a large portfolio of audit clients, solving complex technical matters, and overseeing and developing your team to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of auditors in the delivery of high-quality audit services to clients
- Develop and implement audit strategies to meet client needs and regulatory requirements
- Manage and resolve complex technical issues and audit findings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of audit methodologies and procedures
Requirements:
- Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post-qualification experience
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS102 and IFRS
- Experience with audit software and Microsoft packages
