Production Planning Specialist

The Production Planning Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Maintenance division by ensuring the necessary resources—personnel, materials, equipment, data, and facilities—are readily available for scheduled maintenance operations. This position is essential for maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and ensuring that all work packages are effectively managed and completed.
Key Duties- Assist Shift Managers with production planning to guarantee the availability of all required resources for maintenance activities.
- Analyze man-hour capacity plans for both Scheduled Maintenance Inspections and Ad Hoc Maintenance requests.
- Develop comprehensive Maintenance work packages, including all necessary supporting data and documentation for scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Oversee the management of work packages issued to the Part 145 Maintenance Organisation, ensuring accurate record-keeping of all work cards.
- Verify that all maintenance documentation is properly accounted for and completed in accordance with AS.2728 & AS.2713 standards, and certified by qualified engineers when necessary.
- Coordinate the distribution of maintenance task cards to Part 145 engineers, ensuring efficient execution of tasks while considering human factors.
- Collaborate with the Operators Part M organisation to ensure timely planning of maintenance and availability of work packages for the Part 145 Maintenance Organisation.
- Represent AirTanker Services Limited and maintain effective communication with external agencies and committees.
- Demonstrated experience as a Production Planner or Controller within a civilian Part 145 Maintenance Organisation.
- Strong understanding of EASA regulations relevant to Part 145 Production Planning activities.
- Proficient in computer literacy, particularly with planning software.
