About the Job

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team at Steer Automotive Group. As an MET Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers' vehicles are repaired to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and trim components of various vehicle makes and models
  • Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
  • Ordering replacement parts and re-assembling vehicles with new parts as required
  • Ensuring all work meets the company's quality standards and complies with safety regulations
  • Communicating effectively with the team regarding the status of repairs

About You

We are looking for an experienced MET Technician with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work skilfully and safely under pressure. You will have:

  • Significant experience as an MET from an accident repair background
  • The ability to plan your workload efficiently and effectively
  • The ability to work as part of the team, as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision
  • The flexibility to work to high standards and with customer satisfaction in mind
  • The ability to follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times
