Unlock Your Potential as a Mechanical Engineer in Healthcare

Ramboll Group A/S is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our UK team in the Global Healthcare Division. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of our UK Healthcare Team, working on projects in London and South East England, with opportunities to contribute to healthcare projects throughout the UK and globally.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Mechanical concepts and design philosophies that drive innovation and excellence.
  • Liaise with clients and collaborators, representing Ramboll at project meetings and ensuring effective communication.
  • Lead the design process, completing detailed designs to required standards and supervising the work of graduate engineers and apprentices.
  • Utilize industry-standard software, such as Hevacomp, MagiCad, IES, and Revit, to complete design calculations and ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Implement best practices to enhance and maintain the delivery of sustainable, zero-carbon, innovative, and quality advisory and design services.
  • Manage your own projects, allocating resources and coordinating tasks to ensure successful project outcomes.
About You

You should have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline and be proficient in digital design tools, including Revit/BIM 360. Your forward-thinking approach to digital design innovation and 'smart design' in a digitized construction arena will be essential in driving our team's success.

  • Proven experience in the UK Healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of project delivery and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in plain language, verbally and in writing.
  • A passion for innovation and a willingness to adapt to new technologies and design methodologies.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting project deadlines.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, matched pension contributions, and a host of subsidised benefits, including private medical insurance and cycle-to-work schemes.
