Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Town Planner to join their team in Gloucestershire. As a Senior Town Planner, you will be responsible for assessing site potential, promoting sites for development, and preparing planning applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess site potential and identify opportunities and constraints
- Promote sites for residential and commercial development through the Local Plan process
- Prepare and coordinate planning applications, including drafting supporting statements
- Liaise with internal and external technical specialties, clients, and Local Planning Authorities
- Manage project budgets and prepare fee proposals
- Support junior team members and promote the company's services
- Maintain a programme of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Degree and/or Masters in Town or Spatial Planning, desirable
- Chartered Member of the RTPI, desirable
- 3+ years planning experience in the public or private sector
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Project management experience, including budget management and invoicing
- Full driving licence and use of own car
- Live in a commutable distance of Gloucestershire
