Welder Specialist

We are seeking an experienced temporary Welder to join our team at New Appointments Group, working for a leading Manufacturing client in the Darlington area. This is an initial 6-week contract, with the possibility of extension.

The successful candidate will be responsible for welding component parts to specific drawing specifications within a sheet metal manufacturing environment. They will work to weekly production schedules and adhere to engineering standards and principles.

Key responsibilities include:

• MIG welding component parts to specific drawing specifications
• Working to weekly production schedules and meeting deadlines
• Adhering to engineering standards and principles
• Collaborating with the production team to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements:

• Experience in MIG welding and/or TIG welding
• Ability to weld to automotive quality standard (2-3mm)
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Welding and Fabrication qualifications desirable, but not essential
