About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our team at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary. As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Provide objective occupational health advice to support the effective management of our workforce.
Provide clinical assessments of employees' health and fitness for their roles.
Ensure that appointments are available in person, phone, or Teams as required.
Travel to alternative locations across the force to facilitate clinics and appointments.
Undertake health surveillance in line with legal requirements.
Obtain specialist reports and liaise with physicians, physiotherapists, and counsellors to provide comprehensive OH reports.
Essential Qualifications
Registered General Nurse with current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
Occupational Health Degree.
Occupational Health Specialist Practitioner Status - Part 3 NMC.
Trained in health surveillance such as audiometry, spirometry, and vision screening.
Essential Experience
Significant clinical experience.
Ability to keep clear and accurate records.
Occupational Health experience.
