We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as an On-Call Firefighter. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for responding to a range of emergencies and engaging with your community to promote fire safety and prevention.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency calls and incidents, providing a rapid and effective response to protect life and property.
- Participate in regular training and drills to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Engage with the local community to promote fire safety and prevention, and provide education and advice on fire safety best practices.
- Work collaboratively with other emergency services and agencies to ensure a coordinated response to emergencies.
- Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of fire station facilities and equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be physically fit and able to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations. You will also need to be able to work well under pressure and as part of a team. A Standard DBS Check will be required for this position.
