Position Overview:
The Best Connection is currently in search of a Facilities Maintenance and Security Officer to provide essential support in maintaining and securing our client's premises.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Facilities Maintenance and Security Officer, your role will encompass two primary areas:


  • Facilities Maintenance:
    - Assist in the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring the upkeep of the buildings, grounds, and fixtures.
    - Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on a scheduled basis.
    - Engage in various maintenance activities, including plumbing and general repairs.
  • Site Security:
    - Oversee and regulate access to the facility, ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted entry.
    - Conduct regular security patrols to identify and deter any suspicious behavior, responding promptly to any incidents that may arise.
    - Patrol multiple locations within the industrial area to ensure safety and security.

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid UK driving license.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Previous experience in a security-related position.
  • Experience in general maintenance tasks.
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check if not already completed.

Working Hours & Compensation:
- Shifts are scheduled from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, covering both day and twilight shifts.
- Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and skills.
